I’ve never met a party dress I didn’t like, especially during the holidays.
Whether you’re meeting a special someone under the mistletoe or putting a
bow on it and giving the gift of your presence at the fete, there’s nothing like
looking festive.
During the holidays, it’s nearly impossible to overdo it. I’m wearing velvet,
pearls, gold accents, chains, patent leather, fringe and spikes – all together –
and it totally works! And even though I’m in all black, I’ve made it different
with sparkly add-ons and layered textures.
When dressing for your next soiree, keep in mind that even though you’ll look
like the ultimate fashion girl, you don’t have to adopt the attitude! Be the fun
guest at the party and if you’re the host, consider adopting a theme.
Personally, I’m loving a Great Gatsby meets Alice in Wonderland look – chic,
but whimsical. Find your own way to dress up the drab winter, and you’ll be
on the best-dressed list in no time.
