Last week was "Party Hopping" central as I got invited to the Dolce & Gabbana soireƩ held at the Oak Street store in Chicago and to Edrop-Off's 10-year Anniversary Party with famed designer Christian Siriano, who was also unveiling his new fragrance Silhouette.

Now, my first train of thought? What the heck am I supposed to wear!? I've been traveling a ton and working 12 hour days with no time to shop at all.

Thankfully, I found my gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana dress that I bought in 2006, yep... that's how old it is. Does that mean it's vintage?! HA! It's a runway piece and one of my favorite dresses I own. I've only worn in two other times, once in 2006, once in 2012 and now. As you can tell I very rarely wear things twice, but this gem is black (LBD) and very very special! I paired the look with a long haired moto jacket from BCBG and my new favorite staple shoes. Done and done!!!

Here is a little peak into the Dolce party. It was hands down one of the most beautiful store events I've been to!!! It's no secret that I'm in love with fairy tales and all things whimsical. My entire wedding was mimicked after Tim Burton movies and my baby shower was all about Alice in Wonderland. Not to mention all the other parties I've ever thrown representing my childhood, and current fairytale obsessions. So, when I walked into Dolce and it transformed me to an enchanted forest, with a "The Last Supper" table scape filled with the most incredible Italian Pastries I almost died! The president of Dolce & Gabbana, Federica Marchionni was there and she was the most darling, beautiful and humble woman. Loved chatting up with her about my connection to Italy and all things Italian! A mini side note, I lived in Ladispoli as a child.

After the Dolce & Gabbana party my girls and I walked on over to the beautiful Waldorf Astoria to see and celebrate Christian and Corri! What a fierce party it was. The cocktails were flowing, the Siriano gowns were stunning, the music was bumping and the crowd was filled with the most gorgeous peeps our Windy City has to offer! The overall vibe was amazing and the pop-up-shop smelled divine from the Siriano Silhouette candles.

It's October, it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it's Baby K's favorite color! Today it's all about PINK! This pastel pink jacket is perfect for fall, contrary to popular belief, you absolutely can and you must wear pastels this fall! I love pink hues with a solid pop of black. You still have time to rock any shade of pink this October, go for it, have fun and do it for the cause!

Having a fabulous coat is vital for staying chic while still bundled up! When you have to cover your outfit with a coat you might as well make it a flawless one.  I picked out some of my favorite coats and jackets for this season.  Here's to keeping warm and looking hot kids!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, last Thursday my super cool friend, Janet Lee Mandell the blogger behind Fashionaholic and the founder of Mia Bossi together with the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago hosted the 3rd Annual Think Pink event benefiting The Lynn Sage Foundation. I was super honored to be asked to be part of the show, but also couldn't help but think of myself as... #FashionRoadKill!

Thankfully I didn't fall, and I felt great and honored walking for such an amazing cause. I also loved everything I was wearing, and was even more honored to be asked to wear the latest Nicole Miller bridal.

Thank you to everyone for coming and for all your amazing support and love!

Well my fashion friends, it is time to bust out the layers!! I love love love fall colors and getting to layer burgundy, navy and brown with my favorite denim makes me super giddy.   When fall hits Chicago I play with more natural colors to go with the changing fall leaves.  Of course I still love my winter whites, blacks, and pops of summer color, but layering to an outfit adds so much depth and is much more fun than a simple dress! Pairing fur with denim and cute booties is my staple to fight the autumn breeze.
